BIX.BG connects to DE-CIX’s global backbone
The new backbone connectivity between BIX.BG in Sofia and DE-CIX Frankfurt is now live, alongside a new direct connection between Sofia and DE-CIX Istanbul.

With latency below 35 milliseconds (ms) between Sofia and Frankfurt, and below 12 ms between Sofia and Istanbul, the new connectivity creates seamless possibilities for networks connected to one exchange to interconnect with networks on the other exchanges, bringing additional network operators, and well as cloud and AI networks, to the Balkans.
